Coming with two opening criss-cross windows and a matching door, the Stork is a bright and airy model. It is also fitted with environmentally-friendly shatter resistant styrene window glazing, a safer alternative to glass, as well as safety hinges to prevent trapped fingers, for added peace of mind. The large 2ft veranda gives the playhouse character, a neat decorative feature that also offers shade in the summer and shelter at other times of year.

Kit it out with beanbags, sports posters and a storage box for play equipment for a great place to relax after their latest match. The Shire Stork Playhouse is made from a high-quality planed softwood in a sturdy tongue and groove shiplap construction, meaning it is better sealed from the elements, as well as making it aesthetically pleasing. The floor is also constructed from tongue and groove boarding for a more water resistant, longer-lasting build, and the roof is made from Oriented Strand Board (OSB).
This Shire playhouse is supplied with a dip-treated base coat as standard, with a top coat available as an option for a stronger and golden brown finish. The Stork Playhouse does not come pre-painted, giving you a blank canvas to tailor to the children’s desires. The manufacturer recommends applying a water-based top coat of your choice, preventing the timber from weathering and therefore making the playhouse last longer.
The Shire Stork Playhouse is supplied flat-packed for ease of handling and assembly. All fittings and felt are included in the price, with clear, easy-to-follow instructions, though you can choose to add assembly if desired.
