Description

Make the most of a difficult corner. The Hampton Summerhouse will add instant style to any garden and at a price that is too good to miss!

A great space to relax in and enjoy the outdoors even on those colder evenings.

The Hampton summerhouse is packed with standard features not found in many summerhouses such as the proper joinery full glazed double doors with mitred beading. Two opening joinery windows. The matching criss-cross windows and doors not only let light flood into the summerhouse and are great for allowing plenty of air to flow in and out of the summerhouse, they also make this summerhouse look very stylish.

Dont forget the Hampton summerhouse is also supplied with a tongue and groove floor

Produced to the highest standards using quality timbers from sustainable sources. Manufactured in the UK Shire are renown for their quality.

Shire buildings are made from a high grade ship-lap tongue and groove construction. This is distinguished from fast grown type timber used on cheaper sheds from other manufactures. Tongue and groove construction means the building is better sealed from the elements.

The timber used is a continental slow grown timber. Slower grown timber means tighter grain, extra strength and longer life.

Treatment: all Shire buildings are supplied with a factory applied first coat treatment in a honey brown water based product. The summerhouse will require a second coat wood preservative to be applied and you can use whatever colour you like to transform your summerhouse.

Walls are constructed using softwood planed tongue and groove shiplap pattern boarding. Actual thickness is 12mm.

Frame: A robust Planed 35x35mm (1 1/2′ x 1 1/2′) framework (walls and floor) that gives the building strength. Floor is planed tongue and groove matching pattern boarding. Actual thickness of timber is 12mm

Roof is usually constructed using 11mm Oriented Strand Board (OSB) with roof felt supplied.

Floor 12mm Tongue and Groove Floor

Windows are properly morticed and tenoned. They are opening, profiled, and weather resistant. ie The window has a unique profiled ‘lip’ that covers the aperture of the opening in the panel making it weather resistant. Casement stays have 2 levels of opening.

Doors. Joinery double doors glazed in 3mm horticultural glass

Glazing 3mm horicultural glass. All glazing is retained by profiled beading which is pre-mitred (no awkward corners to be cut).

Treatment: All Shire garden buildings are supplied pre-treated with a base coat to both sides in a golden brown water based industrial product (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire the manufacturer recommends that you apply a water based top coat of your choice. This will protect the timber from weathering on your shed making it last longer and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Supplied flat packed for ease of handling and assembly. All fittings and felt are included in the price with clear easy to follow instructions.

Anti-Rot Guarantee

All of the wooden garden buildings at Timberdise come with an anti-rot guarantee for peace of mind that your new garden building will be around long after we have supplied it. All buildings come with a 10 year anti-rot guarantee apart from the pressure treated range as these come with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee.

Most of the wooden garden buildings we supply come with a pre-coat of treatment that we like to call transportation protection. This protects the buildings from the elements as we deliver them to you and also gives you a small period of time from installation to actually getting the building treated yourself so that the building is not exposed during this crucial stage of its life (this does not include log cabins and garden rooms). Log cabins and garden rooms come without any treatment so make sure you treat these buildings within the first week of them being installed.

We at Timberdise will always advise you to treat your new wooden garden building as soon as you possibly can and ask that you continue to treat the building at least every 12 months there after. This is to ensure you get the maximum life span out of the building and prevent any premature rotting. We also advise you that to keep your guarantee valid you do have to treat both inside and outside of the buildings as most buildings don’t come with any damp protection.

Please have a look at the aftercare details we have available on this site by clicking here Aftercare for Sheds, Summerhouses & Playhouses and Aftercare for Log Cabins for further information.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

Returns

At Timberdise we offer a 14 day money back guarantee on all of our items. The guarantee commences from the date which you receive your item and we even offer a free collection service as part of this agreement.

The building must be returned in its original, untreated, resalable condition. Until the item is collected by our courier, it’s the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the building remains in this condition.

We will not however dismantle on your behalf and we cannot be held liable for any third party costs. Once the building has been received by our factory and checked, a full refund will be issued within 7 working days providing all of the above conditions are met.
